Coleman

This 1930’s Bungalow is situated near UNCA campus. The existing house had a porch and old utility building removed.  Evergreen added a 1200 sq. ft addition consisting of finished heated living area, garage and a 3 season porch.

The addition featured a new kitchen, a laundry/mud room that connected to the garage, a walk-in pantry, a master bedroom suite with his/her closets and a master bathroom. The existing kitchen was converted into a dining room while the living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom were all updated with new electrical and paint.

The exterior of the home had a new sunk-in patio that created a flat outdoor gathering space which connects to a newly landscaped gardening and fire pit area. The entire home’s electrical was updated with overhead power lines now buried underground and an electric vehicle car charging station in the new garage.

The HVAC was overhauled with a new Bosch heat pump that supplied heat and air to the updated building envelope. The roof and crawl space were sealed and conditioned to create an energy efficient home.
